HotFolder job Help

I am inserting one image and I want to retrieve the same image in more than one image size. Is it possible to create 2 retrieval tasks for one insertion. If yes, how to proceed?

Is it possible to create 2 retrieval tasks for one insertion :-

You can not create retrieval tasks for an insertion job?

You cannot create tasks from a job..

If I understand your question :-

You are uploading an image say , ****.gif

When you down load the images, you want ,

two different sizes and name say ****_500X500.gif and ****_100X100

This is not possible using a single task.

But you can dowanlod any one using a single task

(either ****_500X500.gif Or ****_100X100)

But you can achieve this !

Read HotFolder capabilities using tasks

( the tasks will create the images of different sizes in

you local folder /or the folders in MB)

Your understanding is correct. I have one large image 1500x1000 in /MediaBin/Home. I want to create two jpg images from this large image. I created one retrieval task for generating the thumbnail 70x60 and another task for generating large image 250x200 both in jpg format.

I created one job in hotfolder with /MediaBin/Home directory as the source and local drive c:\destination\thumbnail

I try and create another job in hotfolder with /MediaBin/Home as the source and local drive c:\destination\largeimage

I receive an alert stating "The folder has been used as source folder of other hot folders please select another".
