Do not get a select TPL popup for the same DCR after first Generate

Hi,

I didnt see quikcly anything in te manuals..

I have multiple TPLs for a data type. But when I select one TPL during generate I dont get a TPL popup next time I click on generate fpr the same DCR. Can somebody tell me how can I keep getting popup & tpl wont get selected automatically ?

You don't. IMHO you shouldn't.

If you have blah.html generated from this.tpl and blah.xml, if you regenerate it, TS should use the exact same set of files during the regen. It would not make sense to not use that.

If you really want to choose, you would need to remove the PrimaryPT EA that TST places on the output.

basicaly its a click on "Generate" & not regenerate (yes offcourse Regenerate should use same set of DCR/TPL details, but I thought Generate can always have options). I already tried removing PrimaryPT, it didnt work. It still uses the same TPL.

That make no sense, I just tried it (6.7.1 SP1) click generate on blah.xml, asked which TPL to use and generated. Clicked generate again on blah.xml, it asked which TPL and worked again. What OS & TS level ?

true .. weird.. but I closed the DCR & opened again & it works that way now (getting TPL select popup). Forgot to mention I was opening DCR in view mode if that hsould really make any difference. I didnt try it in edit mode yet.

oh, when you said generate, I assumed from the menu item. Yea the GUI remembers the last TPL you generated with (IIRC, for preview or edit) and uses that.

You can reset/modify last generation memory from "Form Settings" (Control next to Save, Save As...)
