"Generate/Preview" Error

I have a simple tpl file html>Hello

Now in templating.cfg, the vpath = ".*" . Now when I fill in the form and try to Generate it, I get the following error:

"An error occurred in utility daemon. Error code: 5. Please see details in iwutild.log."

I hate these errors as they do not really tell you where you went wrong! Does any one have this error as well?? Ez...kurt

Many people has faced that error it should be something in your PT. Could you post your PT and also provide your env details.
Meanwhile you could check what the error is all about in errorlog(iwutild_cmdout).

Please post your PT using CODE tag or as attachment. Also provide your environment details.

And check the PT using iwpt_compile command-line tool.

the error log says something like:
Y:\default\main\Bee\WORKAREA\Content\zz_tst_administrator_0_manifest

could you paste he entire error message you get while you try to preview the page.
Also does your PT consist of only the word "Hello" in it without any PT/HTML tags. Could you give it a try with

Make this change, it will make your life easier (not that it will fix the issue you have, but it is going to solve other issues you will see

I do have the code as u have written down.......the error doesnt say anything much -- just the one I posted. Let me try and work on it again from one of the samples they have.......
