EMC disk array
Our EMC disk array went down and the volume was detected as corrupted. Our local admins advised us to run chkdsk /f on the 600 GB volume. When it completed, messages similar to the following were output (106 of them):
Deleting index entry {03CE9D6B-B3AB-4A7A-BF2F-EF7D27439F2B}.mbf in index $I30 of file 1817665.
I have checked with a test java class and have discovered that this guid is not an asset, metadata or deriviate details reference. What does this reference and should we be concerned that there are issues with these 106 references? A quick glance by some of the business users at the system that is up now seemed to indicate recent work was still there as expected.
What are these files and how can I make sure we have the latest and greatest before telling them we need to revert to the latest backup?
