how to export folders and contents from Content Manager

Hi,

In my production site(Vignette portal 74), I created Folders and subfolders under Contente Manager. Using Content Explorer portlet, users have uploaded files(pdf, doc, html, txt) into their respective folders.  And using Story Publisher portlet, users can see the same.

Now we are moving on to different server and also portal 81. We exported the site from above and imported it onto portal 81. After import, We are not finding anything related to Folders or subfolders.

In Explorer portlet config, I have the following message in RED color:

/Portal Content/Hospital Documents/ [folder does not exist] (include subfolders)

Do we have a way to get all the folders and files from one system to import them onto another system?

Sridhar,

You can use the importexporttool utility as described in the configuration guide to import and export the content.
