Timestamp widget extension issue when set to required

Hello,When the Timestamp widget is set to required I get an error warning at saving. The error message is The value should be of type "Date". There is no issue saving the content item when the Timestamp is set to optional. The database data type is datetime and null is allowed.Does anyone have a fix for this?Thanks,Casey

How you are setting the time stamp?

From the error it looks like the date format is wrong, we had similar problem if date is (dd/mm/yyyy) format, we changed to (mm/dd/yyyy) format then it worked.
