I have just added a new utility that allows a DM user to issue a restore request for an archived document.
The Restore Request.dll adds a new right click menu that allows a user to request that an archived document be restored to eDOCS DM. This functionality existed in DOCS Open. When a user attempted to open an archived document in DOCS Open, a message would display asking if the user wanted to issue a restore request. eDOCS DM does not have this functionality built into the native application.
This menu item will issue the same restore request that DOCS Open does. Administrators can then use the DM Storage Management utility to view the restore requests and act on those requests. This functionality is native to the Storage Management utility.
