The Email attribute of the mail-task gives two options
servlet mail,send mail
can i add my own email script to the email task and start using this script
i am using teamsite 5.0 under windows2000 platform

If you want to use your own script - do not use a Mail Task in WorkflowBuilder, use an External Task (the Mail Task only exists as such within WorkflowBuilder - it is really just a specialized instance of an externaltask which happens to call one of those two scripts).

Using a generic External Task element, you can call any command you want.
