Add a document inside a content

Hi, I'm new in Interwoven.

In some of our contents we need authors to insert documents from their pc's. Looking at the docs I can´t see any information about how to insert this in the DCT. The only similar thing is the tag, but it only works within the workarea.

Any hints about this issue?

You would usually import the document into TeamSite and use a browser element in your DCT to select the imported document within the workarea.

unfortunately we can't do it like that, authors will insert the contents from an external application and they won't have direct access to TeamSite.
In support articles I found one that looks like what we need (https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=52258). It's from 2004, so I guess it's from a previous Interwoven version (we are using the 6.7.2 beta), and I'm trying to adapt it. Wiss me with luck (I'm new to Perl too)

Sorry, my mistake. I was thinking that we were going to call the DCF's from the module we're integrating with Interwoven.. conceptual errors, you know.
We prefer to insert the document and the content on the same time, so we'll study more in that line. If we see that it's not possible to do it, we have the option you gave us.
