version path

In the templating.cfg, when I configure a category in tag without mentioning vpath, it works. But when I configure with vpath, it doesnt. So what should I take care, while putting vpath ? I dont think , I am making any mistake with vpath.

Pls explain.

Please post the relevant snippet of the configuration file you are having issues with - both the way it works and the way it doesn't work.
