V7 - Workflow import issues

Hello

we are running VCM 7.3.1.1 with Microsoft Visio Pro 2003.

We designed a workflow in Visio, sucessfully validated and exported it into VCM.

However, when we try to import the same workflow into the Visio for further changes, we receive the following error..

"Unable to properly map transition order for split"

...and all the transition info is lost...

I tried restarting VCM, but it did not resolve the issues

What could be the root cause of this behavior ?

not knowing the xpdl it's hard to say. can you post the xpdl here? If I were to guess it's because "something" happened between when it was working and now. was there an upgrade? take a look at the workflow in visio (or any other xpdl editor) and see if it passes wfmc validation. if not, look at the transitions going into and out of the split in question. Are they "connected" ok. is there a condition on the validation that is no longer valid? what happens often is that a condition is altered in an automated action mapping and the condition on the transition is no longer "good".

but what would really nail this down is taking a look at the xpdl. without that it's an educated guess...
