After applying the latest VCM 8.0.x patch and recompiling the latest Workspace Extension (appsvc-extension.war and jars), the inline link stopped working (it's throwing a javascript error when I hit the select button to select any content itens or channels).
I'm using the following version (Patch and Workspace extension):
