WorkSite Service Manager - registering from command line??

Hello,

We are using WorkSite Service Manager 8.2.32 to register and unregister databases for Index Search and Index Manager. Does anyone know of a way to do the same thing via a command prompt?

I figured out that when a database is registered, it creates a registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Interwoven\WorkSite\imIdxMgrSvc\Databases\. However, in the registry key, the LogonID and Password are encrypted. This is preventing me from just importing a registry key...

Is there an API to use for the purpose of registering/unregistering WorkSite databases? I've gone through the customisation documentation for WorkSite and it doesn't have any such information.

Do you mean that you are attempting to log out of a currently running session in FileSite/DeskSite? Or something else?

No, the SDK does not support API's for the Service Manager.
