Content MultiSelect widget - CI loading with more items in Avaialable list

Hi,

The loading of content instance configured with content multiselect widget gets really slow with the increase number of child items. I have many CTDs where i strared noticing slowness, ex. CI takes about 70secs to load the CIF in which its trying to retreive 2500 items in the Available list. Is there any way to improve the performnace of loading?

Why don't you use Content Select CCE with Content Relator CCE for this?

Content MulitSelect widget for your requirement is may not be a good idea.

Hi Srini,
My assumption that wouldalso be slow...also I won't be able to change all multiselects into Relatoras we are migrating sites from V6 to V8 and had to stick with the look& feel of V6 CIF.
