New installation using Remote Upgrade?

Hi,
Can we do an new installation of OD( Say OD 6.1.1) using remote upgrade procedures with Open Deploy user interface? I guess that remote upgrade procedures are for only upgrading to versions 6.x not for new installations?.

I do not exactly about this feature but from what you say, I would assume, it will only work for upgrades and not for new installations..

If you are on Windows, your windows server team may be able to help you though!

you can't do the new installations using Remote Upgrade. this feature is only for doing the upgradation of previous OD version to latest one and it is available in OD6.x releases.
