Unable to Connect to OpenDeploy daemon

Hi All,

While deploy(iwodcmd) command running from the command line.I am getting this problem

Unable to Connect to OpenDeploy daemon
Reason: Failed to create Socket
Reason: sockErr=10057, Socket is not connected
Check that the OpenDeploy server on host localhost is listening on port 3434.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Environment :Teamsite 6.7.1,OD6.2,Win2k3.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

disable the Deploy.cltProxyAuthCheck in deploy.cfg. by default it is 'y',change it to Deploy.cltProxyAuthCheck: n.
or allow the machine in Deploy.cltProxyAllowedHost: parameter in deploy.cfg.

Hi,

From the error it looks like that the Open Deploy Service (iwod60) is not up and running. Check the status of the Open deploy server(iwodcmd [-odinst instName] serverstatus). And if the services are down then try restarting the iwod60 service.

That's a solution for a different error - which is "PERMISSION_DENIED".
Since that is not the error reported, I don't think it will help here.

Is this your incorrect advice for anything having to do with OpenDeploy? Not to mention that you're replying to a 2-year old thread - iwwebd does not have anything to do with OpenDeploy processes failing.
