Content Instances not Listed in VCM

Hi Team,

I had used the Vignette API to create Content Instances on a specific CTD. The items are not getting listed in the VCM AppConsole.

In the Database, the records are created in the custom table, I can see the record in VgnAsMoMetaData as well.

When I try to find the CI's and delete using custom VCM API, It says "Object with <<id>> not found" in my stacktrace.

Is there a way we can delete those hidden (or) partially created CI's? We are in VCM 7.6. Appreciate any help or suggestions.

Hi Bhyravi,

You can try “cfgsync” (from <Vignette_Install_Dir>/bin directory) first and then see if the contents appear in AppConsole.

Hi,

Orphan – A channel that exists on the delivery stage but whose parent
channel does not. This term does not apply to CIs.

Truant – A channel or CI that exists on both the delivery stage and the mgmt
stage but should not be on the delivery stage.

Zombie – A channel or CI that exists on the delivery stage but not on the
mgmt stage.

Our issue is the records exists in the custom table of that CTD(in management stage DB) but the CI is not shown in AppConsole.I remember there are some DB scripts which can clear the false DB entries, is that an adivsable and safe approach?

If so does some one have those scripts for VCM 7.6?
