Multiple Group Memories

We are looking for some guidance regarding multiple group memories. We are
contemplating extending collab beyond the firewall in the near future and are considering expanding for our single GM model to multiple GM's. Currently, our system has only been used internally.

Does anyone have experience with tihis? Is anyone running multiple group memories? Are there any guidelines available for using multiple GM's? When
should they be used and when not? Is it a good idea
to use multiple GM's for controlling intenal only versus public access? Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi Mark,

I didn't see too much information in the admin/developers guide on this. 7.3 admin guide just touches on configuring multiple group memory searches page 122 with the search aspect of this covered on chapter 6. I did see another thread on this previously discussed before :

Thanks for the additional information Chris.

The discussio that you referenced had some good points relative to performance and archiving.

This differs from our scenario; In our case we are interested is distributing content for access control & security as opposed to performance.
