TS 6.7.1 install

Hi All,

Thanks in advance. We are in the process of installing TS 6.7.1 on windows EE. Going through the guide, the install order is

If you are installing or upgrading to the TeamSite 6.7.1 and Search 2.1 base releases and
service packs, the overall installation order must be the following:
1. Base TeamSite 6.7.1 release
2. Base Search 2.1 release
3. TeamSite 6.7.1 Service Pack 1
4. Search 2.1 Service Pack 1

We have completed until step 2. Now we want to know when we should install the patch for TS.

Any pointers?

Patch or SP 1 ?

Your order is correct. Have you rebooted & verified the 6.7.1 install ? You should go ahead with TS SP1 and then search.

I am talking about Patch 1823.

Yes. We had rebooted the box and the TS 6.7.1 and search is running fine.

My question here is, when should I install the patch. After step 4?

Check the pre-reqs for that patch, did it come out before or after SP1 ? If it is for SP1, then install SP1 and then the patch. If it is for 6.7.1 you need to find out from support if it will work for SP1, or if it is even required (the patch *could* have been rolled into SP1).

Yes I had checked and it looks like patch 3 is covered in SP1. Thanks for the reply.
