Ephox with Inline Tags Widget - cannot insert VCM Image Link

After applying the latest VCM cumulative maintenance (Web Experience Management 8.0 SP2+Cumulative (2012-02-03 21:17:13 GMT)), functionality within Ephox with Inline Tags Widget broke.

I upgraded to the most recent version of Workspace Extensions, dated 2012-02-02, but I'm still having trouble.

Here is what I'm doing:

1. Create new ContentInstance of type that has an Ephox with Inline Tags Widget

2. Edit the Ephox attribute

3. Select Insert > "VCM Image Link"

4. A new window pops open (as expected) and takes a while to load. Instead of being a selector for the image, it is an error page saying "An error has occurred. Select the Trace Details... button to view information about the error."

5. I look at the trace details. See below for stack trace and supporting information.

How do I go about troubleshooting this? Is this a known issue? Any help is appreciated.

If you are facing this behavior after applying a cumulative package I believe you should open a suport ticket.

Otherwise you can find the class, decompile it and check why it is not being able to initialize parameters(line 175):

Hi Jesse and Dexter,Just to inform you that we didn't face any issues with inserting the "VCM Image Link" or VCM Link in Ephox with Inline Tags Widget in both Firefox and IE8 from V8/Content workspace.We also have applied the latest VCM cumulative patch (Web Experience Management 8.0 SP2+Cumulative (2012-02-03 21:17:13 GMT)) to one of the customer recently. This Ephox with Inline Tags Widget is exists in almost all their CTDs and I have tested few instances and I am able to insert "VCM Image Link" in EPhox successfully by following below steps. 1. Created new ContentInstance of type that has an Ephox with Inline Tags Widget2. Edit the Ephox attribute3. Select Insert > "VCM Image Link" 4. Thanks for the note. I worked with Mario and it turns out our Ephox withInline Tags widgets had the old Image Definition and Link Definition FormContent Type XML Names configured. We changed them from"ImageDataDefinition" to "ImageDefinitionForm" and "LinkDataDefinition" to"LinkDefinitionForm".
