Getting NavItem details of the links clicked in portal

Hi,

I need to know if there is a way to achieve the following:

1. need to get the title of the portlet when a link displayed by the portlet
content is clicked by the end user.
2. Need to get the navigation name also when the above link is clicked.
3. Is there any standard way to track the menu item link clicks?

My real issue is, when a user clicks a link inside a portal bean portlet content, we need to track the link click  and should be able to say it is coming from which portlet, in which page and under which nav item etc. But, the portlet content is dynamic and is coming from a CMS where it is not practical to code javascript method invocations like "onClick" etc. 

 

So, does the vap framework provide any kind of default tracking mechanism, by which we can say which portlet content in a portlet is clicked in a page?
