A few questions on the transfer tool

We are using WEM 8.1

We wish to refresh our DEV environment from Production on a regular basis, and we have a few questions.

1) When happends to the content already in prd, it it removed / overwritten / merged

2) Is there any way to get around the number of stages not matching - 2 live in prd and 1 live in DEV.

Hi Nigel,

 

When transferring data with VTT, no data remains on the destination environment - you replace whatever is there with whatever the source has (there is no merge, moving of subsets, etc.).  As for the number of stages, it is required that the #'s match.
