avkpar
Hi,
we are using Mediabin Enterprise Edition, and tried to setMetadata using webservices.Getting metadata is working perfect.
when tried to setMetadata for by using reviseAssetMetadata(assetID, arrayHolder); Its giving exception.
javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Server was unable to process request. --> MBException: The requested object does not exist. (0x80040405).
Needed help in resolving this issue.
Thanks in Advance

Version 4.6.1 and I have installed the correct version of webservices.
I am able to get the metadata properly.
com.mediabin.MediaBinServer service = new com.mediabin.MediaBinServer();
com.mediabin.MediaBinServerSoap port = service.getMediaBinServerSoap();
com.mediabin.MBContainer result = port.getRootContainer();
com.mediabin.MBContainer getcontainer = port.getContainerByPath(path, result.getMID(), false);
com.mediabin.ArrayOfString arrofStr = port.getAssetIDList(getcontainer.getMID());
com.mediabin.MBAsset mbasset = port.getAsset(assetID);
com.mediabin.MBMetadata[] metadataArray = new com.mediabin.MBMetadata[3];
metadataArray[0] = new com.mediabin.MBMetadata();
metadataArray[0].setMName( "Product Type1" );
metadataArray[0].setMID( "{CACB464D-1F8B-4AEE-9D22-E41C2E123}" );
metadataArray[0].setMValue( "Seafood1" );
com.mediabin.ArrayOfMBMetadata arrayMBHolder = new com.mediabin.ArrayOfMBMetadata();
arrayMBHolder.getMBMetadata().add(metadataArray[0]);
boolean result1 = port.reviseAssetMetadata(assetID, arrayMBHolder);

Can you export the "Product Type1" metadata definition and attach it to this thread?
