Create Channel with /

Hi,

I am trying to create a Channel with a backslash "/" in it. However, Vignette is returning an exception that you cannot create a Channel with "/" it in. We are using Vignette 8.1

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Anyone know how I escape the "/" in order for the Channel to be created?

We are importing existing content from Vignette 6 sites so simply renaming is not an option we can use.

The slash character is not permitted in a channel name. You can try replacing it with pipe (|) character.

You can also try html escape -- /  (ASCII value of the slash)
