Problem with creating link to text with i18n characters in Ephox With Inline Links widget

Hi,

In an Ephox with Inline Links widget, I take some text like the following:

Je considère que le mandat qui m'a été confié par les Français a déjà été honoré

And, I try to create a Hyper link to an external URL. In the response back from the Link Definition Form, I am getting the following JSON:

 que le mandat qui m&apos;a été confié par les Français a déjà été honoré<\/a>"}So, it looks like it should be ok, but then the actual text in ephox has a bunch of garbage in it:Je consid�re que le mandat qui m'a �t� confi� par les Fran�ais a d�j� �t� honor�I'm trying to figure out what is getting called on the return from the LDD form. Hi Marcelo,

Thanks for that suggestion. I don't think that it's the same problem because the characters appear fine at the beginning. It's only after I click on the Paste Link button does it get messed up.

I also can simulate the behavior by simply creating a custom menu item and calling it the same way.

Hi,

I found the problem. In the com.vignette.goe.struts.action.BuildLinkAction class, there is a doPerform method. At the end of the method, there is a line:

response.setContentType("text/html");

this needs to be:

response.setContentType("text/html; charset=UTF-8");
