Has anyone successfully integrated IBM Cogos portlets into OpenText portal? We are looking for some guidance on how to successfully integrate Cognos portlets into the portal.

I recommend contacting your Portlet vendor (IBM) for assistance. That said, it does not appear that OpenText Portal is a supported platform for Cognos portlets.
If IBM provides a Standard (JSR-168 or JSR-286) portlet, then you can theoritically integrate that with OpenText Portal by rebuilding the .war using the Portlet Packaging Tool. Unfortunantely IBM does not appear to provide such a portlet. The portlets they do distribute seem to be native (platform-specific) formats which are incompatible with OpenText Portal.

Cognos portlets seem to be provided via WSRP interface, therefore it should be possible to consume them via OT Portal by adding them as remote portlets.
