Issue with Inline links in WEM 8.1 SP1

Hi,

We recently moved to WEM 8.1 SP1. In one of our EditLive! For Java widget, we are using the inline links XML "/vgn-wcm-up/common/xml/vign-elj-vcmlinks-config.xml".

When we try to insert images using the buttons, it always pops up a window 2 times saying "An Unexpected Error IOccured, Please Contact Your System Administrator". When we click OK it just adds the image in the widget (not sure why the pop up comes).

When we try create hyperlink on this image (or any text) then sometimes another popup window appears and the hypoerlink is not saved.

In addition to this, I think now the hyperlink is having a different URL. If we try to do preview of the CI (using XSL) the hyperlink always goes to 404 - Page not found.

Looks like the URL generated as part of hyperlink needs to be customised. Please let us know if someone has faced these issues and if someone has any solutions.

2. Which browser are you using ?

3. Is this happening on all content types or only in one ?

4. Do you have in place any customizations ?

Thanks Mario for your response. I am using IE8 and FF 12 and this is happening in both the browsers.

We do not have any customizations. We are using OOTB ELJ and the XML as well. One thing I observers is, when we try to upload SF from our desktop (using Create) then this does not come, but when we try uploading it from Vignette (using Find) then this issue always appears.

We are using classic console (AppConsole) and this happes in all the CTDs where we use the inline link XML.

I will attach screenshots soon.

Just a quick not, you might not see the Menu bar, I have commented it from XML, but I have reproduced it using the OOTB XML too. If you want I can do that again.
