Hi,

we've a requirement to list the document and approver from the process history of the document for the given date, I'm trying to use the getAuditEntries() method here, but I'm getting some Name Errors / Attribute errors. Is there any document available for this? else can anyone helm me in this?

I would suggest referring to the OOTB “processHistory_showObjectInContents.shtml” template. It should give you a good idea how to interpret the iterator returned from getAuditEntries().

There is a similar method on KMObjects called “getAuditTrail” which returns an iterator of the audit trail similar to what you’d see in the realm of structured logging (see log\Struct.xml for reference). This method differs from the “getAuditEntries” tag method where it’s a iterator over a collection of TagAuditEntry objects which has accessors for start/end times, user, etc. With the jython (KMAPI) version, you’ll need to write the functionality to parse start and end times (for example).

thanks Curtis, getAuditTrail() returns list, is there any sample code available to get the username and date from the list

The user will be the “U” value (as a userid). The date will be the “ETE” value in “yyyyMMddHHmmssS" format. I would suggest using java.text.SimpleDateFormat to parse the value into a Date object.

user = kmSession.getUserFromUserID(“admin”)

print user.getFirstName()

print user.getLastName()
