8.1 sample site on a remote host

Hi,

We've the Sample Site running on a remote server. The app server has vgn-ext-templating.war and vgn-ext-samplesite.war deployed. The site content is displaying but the styles are missing.

Looking at the html source, we are missing /cps/script/preview/style.jsp . Do we need to deploy some other webapp for /cps ?

Hello Chinmay,

The /cps webapp lives on the WEM server, hence if you have TAS configured properly on this preview instance, the requests should be proxied to the WEM server

Thanks Bertrand. So how is this handled when the Sample Site is published to a delivery stage and the sample application is going against the delivery stage?

These styles are only there for the purpose of the in-context editing tools and user interface. You should not be seeing this include on a delivery stage, just on a remote preview server
