Can't save a New Data Record

Hello, I'm writting you because I saw you on line. My problem is that I'm trying to create a New Data Record in my Templatedata/news/society/Data directory but when I'm save and close to create the DCR, it doesn't let me save it, so I can't create the new data record. I tried in another directory and let me save it and close it, so could be the permissions in that directory?? I'm login with adminstrator.
