WorkSite protocol for communication

We are planning to have some client side installations of Interwoven like DeskSite, FileSite etc. Can someone please tell what protocol they use to communicate with WorkSite Server? Is it Http or some other protocol?

Hey ank, If I'm not wrong they use TCP/IP...

the server attends the clients requests through the ports 1080 and 1081
