I am getting following error while starting /etc/init.d/iw.local start.

ERROR: /iw-home/local/"/iw-home/iw-perl/bin/iwperl does not exist

Please see my iwlocal.cfg file below

iwatcreate root "/iw-home/iw-perl/bin/iwperl /export/home/jagan/log_it.ipl"

Thanks

It's been ages since I've used any iwatxxx utility - If I need triggered scripts - I use the iwat (no ****) utility instead. That being said, since you appear to be on Unix - I believe the entry should be just

iwatcreate root /export/home/jagan/log_it.ipl

assuming that log_it.ipl is executable (755 ?) and begins with the appropriate #! line.

That doesn't explain why the command is getting prefaces with /iw-home/local" - though perhaps your usage of double-quotes around the command entry portion might cause that?

Thank you very much ghoti. Thanks for your timely help. I have removed that double quotes and it is working now.
