Multiple Domain Synchronization

To support multiple domain synchronization, is there any way for Collaboration to synchronization users across multiple domains.  The domains are trusted in Active Directory so the main domain has access to the users in the other domains; however, the default LDAP synchronization requires a user context.  Using DC=com does not work (ie. users in trusted domains are not synchronized) so we are looking for alternative solutions.

Has anyone implemented Collaboration across multiple domains?

As per ticket reply:

Pointing Collab to the global catalog:port for the "Location of LDAP Directory" (i.e., in the Collab console, go to top > system administration > administration console > users and groups > Collaboration External LDAP Configuration) should work.

We believe you're referring to a base DN for the "user context" used in the LDAP search for users that Collab performs. You may need to connect to the global catalog with an LDAP search utility (e.g., ldap.exe) to determine what the top level forest looks like to place into the base DN on the "Collaboration External LDAP Configuration" page.

Other than using the global catalog, there is no supported way to enter multiple domains into Collaboration
