Initiate a workflow

Can the author starts a workflow? does it depend on the owner that u write when u create the workflow with the WFBuilder? for instance, if the owner of my WFlow is "author1", he always can initiate the Wflow.

At this point in time - the only officially supported way for Authors to initiate workflows is through Submit (command value="submit") or the closing of an Edit DCR session (command value="tt_data").

There have been a number of threads regarding this in these forums, I suggest searching through them for additional information.
