Hi,

We are looking for workflow engine as our a piece of framework in our project. We might not use Teamsite repository, just workflow engine.
So, Is it possible that asks workflow to get assets from another server to attach assets to task, then submit to another server as final store after approval?
Simply the Teamsite workflow only use for assets management, not for storage or publishing.
Also the request developing language is Java only.

Its upto you to configure things in your external tasks.. I dont think, you get this functionality OOB

Yes, it needs more info. Currently we estimate each component in the whole project, and workflow engine is the one. I knew it depends on lots of things.

My concern is the posibilities. If someone have experience with my situation, please help me out.

Yes you can do that. All our workflow code is written in java.

( not sure about the first point in your question though )

In order for you to attach assets to a TeamSite workflow - the assets have to be in a TeamSite workarea.

You could figure out some way to import them into the workarea, process them, and then throw them away afterwards if you wanted - but isn't that kind of like using a 50-pound sledgehammer to put in a screw?
