Presentation Workbench

PPT 2003

Uploaded numerous PPT files. The files are being uploaded as a single file versus slides. Consequently, I cannot see the individual slides in Presentation Workbench. What could be the problem? Also, is there more documentation on Presentation Workbench somewhere??

Check the asset processing/preview setting in the MB Enterprise Manager. May be someone disabled preview for ppts.

Also refer to the install guide there is some additional install/setting change needed for PPT 2003. Is this happening only for PPTs or also for Word, Excel, PDF? BlackIce might be a problem in that case.

There is probably an issue ibn your Black Ice installation. Try to see if PDF files have a preview.

MS Office files can have an embedded preview which is used if the usual preview mechanism (printing previews) is not available. If this is happening the insertion job will have produced a warning (job messages = "yes").
