Error saving component content properties

I am getting the following text as an error when trying to create a new .page. :

Error saving component content properties.
Contact your system administrator for details.

It works fine when trying to edit the components already on pages. I have logged in as a Master, so no permission issue. Component file is unlocked (just to make sure, though does not matter). Any clues why this is happening ?
