Link using hyperlinking button inside visual format editor

Hi All !

How to remove the first two folder name from the full path browsed inside the visual format editor using the hyperlinking button of editor.

It is putting in "html/folder/folder/files/filename". When I browse using the
hyperlinking button of editor.
Where as I needs to only put the last folder and the file name in the .

Please provide the version details of your TS and VFE.

How many folder(s) level deep do you browse to link a file and does this happen with any hyperlink in VFE?
Do these folders in the link come prepopulated or after you have linked them and they show up when you do view source?

Sorry for not mentioning the details, Here it goes -
TS 6.5.0 SP2, OD 6.0.2 VFE 6.0

Here I will explain a bit in details..

Branching on TS >>
Wa_name
///html
/////folder1
///////folder2
/////////folder3
///////////filename.txt

I want to keep last folder and linked file name from path after browsing.

e.g.- Path come after browsing >> html/folder1/folder2/folder3/filename.txt ........Which is right according to workarea and WYSIWYG hypwelink button functionality...

Where as I want to keep only >> folder3/filename.txt.

In short, wanna Cut down the first 2-3 folder names from complete browsed path inside the Editor.

For Point 2 - Yes, this path populated in browser window when I browse and link the file . Also same full path get shows in view source.

How did you get the VFE 6.0 with your TS 6.5 SP2?
I think you have the following options available:

Either manually delete the first two folders while setting the link in VFE.
Use the cleanup script to update the path.
If you are using the dcr in any workflow, then you can parse the dcr and update the hyperlink path.
