Teamsite/Config.pm

I am trying to run perl script "use_files.ipl" and I am getting following error while warning mode is on.

"Can't locate Teamsite/Config.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Program Files/VERITAS/VRTSPerl/lib/MSWin32-x86 C:/Program Files/VERITAS/VRTSPerl/lib .) at use_files.ipl line 7
BEGIN failes--compilation aborted at use_files.ipl line 7. "

When I checked the above mentioned path at /VRTSPerl/lib/ , I found files with .pm extension. From where can I get Teamsite/Config.pm ?

Is it by downloading Teamsite::Config module , will Config.pm be installed ? From where can I download this module ? I am checking the support site, where PERLDOCS is given. I dont see any place from where I can down load ipl modules. Pls advise me on how to get ipl modules.

Are you running this on a TeamSite server ? then it is in iw-home/iw-perl

try using iwperl instead of perl

1) So shall I copy config.pm from "iw-home/iw-perl/lib" into "C:/Program Files/VERITAS/VRTSPerl/lib"
2) Whats this @INC that I am getting in the error? How is this path set ? Is it set by default or custom set ?
3) From where can we download the perl modules ? Are they installed with installation by default ?

You shouldn't be copying the TeamSite::Config module from one machine to another. It should be installed on the TeamSite server, you can try ssh into a unix machine to run your perl or remote desktop into the windows server. If you want to do the development and run on the client (your machine, not the machine where TeamSite is installed), you can try to map the network drive and point to iw-home/iw-perl to run your perl programs.

The TeamSite Perl modules are installed with the TeamSite version of Perl - as in

IWHOMEiw-perl/*

- you are trying to run a different version of Perl. Each version of Perl comes with its own library of modules (standard "core" + optionally cpan + optionally custom) - so the question you probably should be asking yourself is:[indent]"Why am I not using TeamSite's Perl to run my script?"[/indent]If you cannot answer that question convincingly - switch to using TeamSite's Perl.
If you can answer that question with conviction - then provide that rationale here and perhaps we can assist you in figuring out how to do things in a manner that is likely to work.

If this has nothing to do with TeamSite then edit the perl script and remove the TeamSite:: references.

I am using whatever version is there on the server. when I run "perl -v" on the server, I get "This is perl, v5.6.0 built for MSWin32-x86".
How do I understand that whether this is Teamsite version of PERL or not ? If its not, then how can I get TS version of perl ?
