Setting the Content attributes(metadata) of content in DCT

Hi,

I need to set some of the attributes related to content that goes in DCT, that is the metadata for the content being authored in DCT, such as Type of Document, expiration date, language etc. I know metatagger can be useful, but we have the license issues. Is there any other way of doing this except showing these attributes in the DCT itself?

While doing the Save for a particular DCR you can mark the metadata as its extended attributes provided you can fetch the correct value from Workarea or a pre-defined Config file.

You do not need Metatagger to set your own MD. Take a look at Teamsite® Administration Guide, Chapter "Configuring Metadata Capture".
