Scheduled publishing on more than one delivery stage

I need to publish content on a specific date and time, but scheduled publishing is possible when there is only one delivery stage as mentioned in console_overview docs of Vignette.

So I am looking for any workaround by which a content manager can scheduled the publishing of a content.

Just found that there is something called custom publishing policy which helps when we have multiple delivery stages.
