Content not publish due to cache

I am using V8 content management, and after publishing the content, it got published but the updated contents are not reflected in live site. To see the updated content, I have to clear the delivery cache from the preview site.

So is there any configuration which needs to be done, so that it will get reflected immediately.

Also would like to understand how caching works in V8.

The component that displays this object on your delivery stage has a TTL (time to live), and will not update the objects it displays until either it’s TTL has expired or a clear cache webservice call has been sent to the delivery stage. The behavior you have described is expected.

I published an article content, so which properties applies to that and how much time it will take to reflect in live site.

Its a page template fetching contents using Smart List Component.

Note: We are using V8 version.

We are fetching content using a smart list. And there is only one content under the current channel, so the display view displays the full content item. Now when we hit the channel url then the content data didnt get updated (means displaying the data from the cache) with the latest data of that Content. And when we hit the direct url of that content item then the data got updated in live site.

Now when there is only one content under the channel and displays the full content item then the data didnt get updated in live site, so is there any property by which we can set the TTL for this.
