Custom Fixed Layouts

Hi,

Does anyone ever tried to create a custom fixed layout as provided in the manual?

I had created the descriptive.xml file with in relative /iw/config/fixed-layout folder. Also, had used a unique ID to refer the canvas.

Still nothing is coming over as a new layout type defined. Do I need to do anything more?

That post is 8yrs old, you're unlikely to get an answer from OP.

Long story short, this exact scenario is not actually supported -- you can't define more than one fixed layout type. That said, if you post details about your objectives (in a new thread), there might be another way to accomplish them.
