OD does not push images

This workflow pushes html to staging and prod server, but for some reason the images and videos do not. When I check the logs in the base server
I get
Remote-ERROR: remote-dir-not-ok
LIB: 2007-11-30 08:53:33 ERROR: prepare-failed.
LIB: 2007-11-30 08:53:33 Receiver-ERROR: ERROR: [c:\websites\mywebsitestaging] is not an allowed deployment path.
LIB: 2007-11-30 08:53:33 ERROR: Failed to deploy local_directory[.] of area[Y:\default\main\CompanyTalent\WORKAREA\Talent] for filelist[C:\Applications\Interwoven\TeamSite\tmp\filelist.65042.65049.20071130-085331.txt]
LIB: 2007-11-30 08:53:33 ERROR: Failed 1 of 1 filelists
ENG: 2007-11-30 08:53:33 EST GMT-05:00 Thread-447 After COMPARE, res=-1

and in the receiver also I get something similar.
For some reason mywebsitestaging is not an allowed path, where should I check to make sure this path is allowed during deployment?

Thanks in advance,

You have to set the image/video deployment paths on receiver as allowed paths for OD to deploy there in your od config file. Please refer to the OD admin guide.

you have to allow paths in allowed host element in odrcvr.xml(in case of OD receiver)/odbase.xml(in case of OD base).both files reside in od-home/etc. OD can push the image files also. this is not the issue with images files.if you can debug logs more, you can get the exact cause of failure.

Hi,

Even we are facing the similar issue. The files from TeamSite are not being deployed even to the staging. We have checked logs...no errors as such.. any luck??..

OpenDeploy is a pretty solid and reasonably simple product, so chances are if it's not doing what you want and you're not getting errors - then you've probably configured something incorrectly. Without having all the details (server and deployment configuration files, product version information, platform information for both base and receiver, information about the source area, the target area, and all parameters provided on the command line, etc.) - it's kind of difficult to diagnose - even with that information, without being in an environment in which the problem can be reproduced, it is difficult to validate the diagnosis.

After reading the documentation, I understood how these files work together and I fixed the xml reciever file and I didn't get the error anymore and the image and video files now are pushed to production after changing the perl in the tasks.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.
