In the past, before we migrated to v8.1 from v7.3.1.1, all of our page body content was managed by a content item for the channel page. It was easy to set up workflow for these because the items/editors/approvers were grouped by project folders by department.
Now, as we develop new pages, we are using more text components directly on the channel page along with smart lists, etc. These channels are not readily 'groupable'.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how we can create workflows for channel pages? One school of thought is to create 'duplicate' workflows based on the groups and users can select the correct workflow based on the group that is responsible for the channel content. The scenario would necessitate at least 15 or 20 workflows. Not ideal but if that is all there is, so be it.
