Change site URL in WEM

Hello!

Help me please.

I created a site in Management Console, site URL is "host:port/name_of_site". Now I need URL of site looks like "host:port/sites/name_of_site". I tryed to change the value of site URL field in site Properties, but site URL has not changed. How can I change URL?

Sergey,

The url value you entered in Site object property will not actually define the url for the real site. It is meant for informational purpose only. If the actual site is your concern then you are looking at wrong place.

Hi Sergey,

as Qutub said, that URL you set in the site object does not define the actual url.

To achieve what you want to do, you would probably need to customize the friendly url application. Take a look at chapter 11. FURL customizations in the WEM 8.1 Dynamic Site developer guide.
