Registration First Name and Last Name

Hi,

In my Community site, I registered an user using template.REGISTER (http://10.200.9.77/portal/site/Professor20/template.REGISTER/)

In this form I have fields: USERNAME/EMAIL/ FIRST NAME/ LAST NAME/PASSWORD/CONFIRM PASSWORD/TIME ZONE, and I fill all the fields as required.

When I go to Collab (Collaboration Group Memory » Users & Groups » Users/ user - Edit Properties) those fields do not correspond to the form.

Example: In template.REGISTER form, I did:

User Name: psbernar

Email: psbernar@magnasistemas.com.br

First Name: Paulo

Last Name: Sergio Bernardino

Password: qwerty

Confirm Password: qwerty

Time Zone: GMT-3 Brazilia

However, I see in Collab the follow information:

User ID: psbernar

Email Address: psbernar@magnasistemas.com.br

First Name: psbernar

Last Name: (empty)

I would like to understand what is going on. This issue bring us problems to show myprofile page, because the first name do not correspond to the real name created.

If the Portal callback on the collab side is working properly, the first and last name should be set correctly automatically. Are there any exceptions in the collab console log?

Check to make sure the collab properties, “auth.ext.userCallbackClass” and “auth.ext.userCallbackConfig” are configured correctly. Specifically, the “auth.ext.userCallbackConfig” property contains a link to the Portal server, so if Collab cannot communicate to Portal, that could be the problem.
