HPD XML Issue

Hello,

We have recently enabled HPD in our environment. Our RSS Feed templates, which is expected to generate an XML, is having issues after the enablement.

Our Analysis so far:
There is an extra line that gets added on the top before the <?xml... > tag. Our observation is that the extra line of space is added with to almost all HPD cached pages.

Steps so far:
We tried to disable caching for the RSS Feed template, but it does not seem to help.

Is this a known issue faced by other vendors with HPD installation? What is the work around to make the xml outputs operational with HPD ?
Please guide further.

Is this preview (management stage) environment or publish environment (delivery stage)?

Is HPD enabled on both preview and publish?
