Portlets in tabular form

Can we place Portlets in tabular form....like Portal A in Tab One and Portlet B in Tab Two, so when we click Tab One we will see the contents of Portlet A and respectively.

Appreciating any word and help on this!

Hi,

This can be achieved, if we use nav item type "JSP Include Page" instead of "Page".

Use the following code to render the portlet inside the tab of the JSP that is associated.

<vgn-portal:renderPortlet portletFriendlyID="portletFriendlyID">

<vgn-portal:onRenderSuccess>

<vgn-portal:insertPortletContent/>

</vgn-portal:onRenderSuccess>

<vgn-portal:onRenderFailure>

<p class="epi-error">Failed to render portlet</p>

</vgn-portal:onRenderFailure>

Actually in our home page we have many Panels, and we just have to show two portlets in two tabs which are in one of the Panel. And I dont think we will be able to change the Nav item type of home page which has other portlets placed.

So is there any other way we can handle this situation.

Hi,

You can clone and customize the page display secondary page which usually displays portlets in table cells or divs structure.
