pipe error while calling custom scripts

Hi friends,

We are using TeamSite 6.7.2 on windows paltform.
We are calling a custom CGI program from the ui_custom.xml file.

The snippet in ui_custom.xml is:

description="Custom Content Type"
url="/../iw-bin/wdpro_menu.ipl/custom_content_type.cgi"
windowFeatures="width=800,height=570,scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,titlebar=yes,resizable=1,status=no,
center=false,dependent=false,top=20,left=30"
target="_blank"/>

Now when I click the File->Custom Content Type, we get the following error:

"TeamSite: wraper
Error: Error trying to open a pipe to E:\interwoven\Teamsite\httpd\iw-bin\custom_content_type.cgi(1)"

Please help me to resolve the issue.

I could not open the support link.
We are able to execute the ipl files. It errors out only when the cgi programs are being executed.
Please help.

I do not think that the obsolete "/../" notation works from 6.5 forward. Try to change URL format to
url="/iw-bin/wdpro_menu.ipl/custom_content_type.cgi", see if that helps. Note the leading slash.

If you weren't able to read the kb article, it basically states to change the filename.cgi to filename.ipl. So I would try one or both steps mention to see if it works.

Firstly, Sureshm's issue is with "wdpro_menu.ipl". Referenced article is about "iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi".
It has nothing whatever to do to the problem - quite common occurrence with some Forum's contributors.

Secondly, please make your answers to the relevant post. I did not ask anything here.
